What’s New at Dialpad—February 2026: Smarter AI, Faster Workflows, and More Control

Innovation you can count on. Every first Thursday of the month.

At Dialpad, innovation doesn’t arrive in big, infrequent announcements. On the first Thursday of every month, we ship meaningful product improvements customers can use immediately—across admin controls, AI, analytics, and everyday work.

This cadence is intentional. It’s not about shipping more features. It’s about removing friction, sharpening insight, and making AI dependable at scale. February’s release builds on that momentum.

Keeping admin environments aligned as teams change

Modern organizations don’t stand still, and admin tools shouldn’t slow them down. Admins can now reassign user license types directly from the Users page, no support tickets or delays required. As roles shift or teams expand, access and costs stay aligned in real time—so IT can move at the same pace as the business.

That same clarity extends to messaging at scale. New controls let admins decide exactly who can send bulk messages—by office, department, contact center, or user—making it easier to communicate broadly while maintaining ownership, compliance, and consistency.

Turning AI into a sharper management and coaching tool

AI delivers the most value when it helps teams see what’s really happening. With multi-agent scorecard views, managers can now analyze performance across agents or teams in one place—spotting trends faster and focusing coaching where it matters most.

Compliance workflows also become more automatic. Recording and transcription consent can now be handled through caller input, ensuring policies are applied consistently without adding manual steps for agents.

And for multilingual conversations, agents can now set the AI language directly from the call bar or CTI when AI isn’t enabled by default—improving transcript accuracy and ensuring insights reflect the conversation as it actually happened.

Faster workflows—without leaving IVR behind

This release also reduces friction in how teams design and manage call flows.

Admins will still build IVR workflows in the same place as before, but that experience is now part of a broader voice workflow framework. The redesigned builder introduces a cleaner, more intuitive UI while preserving advanced IVR capabilities teams rely on today.

With self-service External API nodes, teams can now connect CRMs and internal systems without professional services—expanding beyond classic IVR use cases and laying the groundwork for more powerful, multi-step automation over time.

Clearer insight into calls that matter

For teams that rely on desk phones, expanded support for Yealink T7 and T8 devices brings modern hardware and improved performance into the Dialpad ecosystem—without giving up AI-native capabilities.

Making mobile and meetings feel lighter

Small moments add up. Updates to the calendar popover make it easier to find active meetings, rejoin past ones, and access recaps at a glance—so teams spend less time navigating and more time collaborating.

On mobile, redesigned New Message flows make it faster to start conversations and select recipients, while the new profile view lets users quickly find shared images, files, and links—bringing desktop-level clarity to mobile work.

Progress that compounds

Each update stands on its own. Together, they reinforce what makes Dialpad different: a single, AI-native communications platform that improves continuously—not occasionally.

The First Thursday Promise means progress isn’t something you wait for. It’s something you see every month.
